LOW ARNSIDE HOLIDAY COTTAGE

Low Arnside Cottage nestles 1/4 mile away from the main farm down a single track and sits in a quiet and secluded spot with a bridleway less than 50 yards from the cottage door. The cottage is approximately 300 years old and its history oozes from every corner with oak panelling, spice cupboard, oak beams and feature fireplace. The head height is limited so tall guests be warned – there may be a few bumps and bruises by the end of your stay! There a kitchen, family bathroom, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a cosy sitting room with a inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove, a dining area and window seat. Outside is an enclosed garden with furniture. It is true to say that Low Arnside has a massive following of guests who adore the beauty of the surrounding landscape and find the cottage a perfect sanctuary. From every window you look out to the surrounding fells and from the garden sits Black Cragg – every guest should take the walk up the fell to embrace the amazing view from Black Cragg – many marriage proposals have been made here! The night sky is flooded with stars and whenever you choose to visit we hope you find it as magical as we do!

Electric central heating and wood burning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. TVs with Freesat, DVD, Bluetooth Speaker and digital radio. WiFi you can pick up the signal in the farmyard. A selection of games, books and jigsaws. Bed linen and towels inc in rent. Fuel, power and logs inc in rent. Travel cot and high chair. Ample off road parking. Bike storage. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. 

Guests are warned that there are some low doorways and beams!

There is a large entrance hall, which provides plenty of space for coats and boots.

The cosy lounge has a wood-burning stove set in the original inglenook.

There is also a window seat overlooking the garden.

There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a digital radio.

The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave.

The bathroom is situated downstairs and has a bath with shower over.

There is a towel heater and under-floor heating.

There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room.

Low Arnside is heated by storage heaters and all electricity and fuel for the stove are included in the rates.

A travel cot and high chair are available.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.
